El Salvador has been deeply affected by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, as well as from the effects of multiple tropical storms which hit the country last year. We have been working to adapt our programs to meet the needs of our community.
Initially we opened a shelter to provide a safe space for the homeless population to “shelter in place” during the strictest phase of El Salvador’s lockdown. Our Lighthouse Resource Center is open on a modified basis, and we have implemented strict health protocols to protect our staff and clients. If you are interested in partnering with us to serve our community during this time, we need your help!
You can donate right now from anywhere in the world:

Please note: Currently, a negative COVID test or proof of completed vaccination is required for travel into El Salvador.
