NEW DAWN RESIDENTIAL PROGRAM

The New Dawn Residential Program is a holistic residential treatment program designed to specifically meet the unique needs of children between the ages of 10 and 17 who struggle with addiction. Early intervention can make all the difference, and our program is the only residential treatment program available for minors in El Salvador.

Our Model

Residents in our program come from a variety of situations which leave them vulnerable to substance abuse issues. Our program lasts for 9 months and focuses on addressing all components of addiction including physical, spiritual, emotional, and mental aspects. Residents live in a family style setting as they work in community to overcome their addictions. Our staff are loving role models who champion each resident and our goal is to provide each resident with the best possible opportunity to recover from addiction in a loving and safe environment.

Our program begins with detox and includes targeted addiction treatment with emotional and addiction therapists to address the root issues of the addiction and work with each resident toward full recovery and healing. Residents also participate in a variety of recreational and physical activities as well as continue with their studies while they are in the program.

We work alongside the families of each resident to help them transition into a secure family situation if at all possible, or an otherwise appropriate and safe environment. We continue to work with all graduates for months after they complete the program to ensure that they are continuing along the path to healing from their substance abuse issues.

If you, or someone you know is under 18 and struggling with addictions, don’t hesitate to contact us today to inquire about the intake process for New Dawn.

The New Dawn Residential Program has obtained the “Seal of Best Practices” from the National Anti-Drug Commission of El Salvador for our work.

We are honored to be recognized and valued for our efforts to make a difference in the lives of youth who struggle with addictions.
