The Change Therapy and Training Center exists to be a powerful resource and place of change for not only for individuals in our programs, but for all of El Salvador. Through Change, we want to provide Salvadoran individuals and families from all socio-economic levels with accessible, quality therapeutic interventions that provide healing, restoration, and opportunities for a new future.
Beyond that, we also want to equip Salvadorans in the areas of systemic/family therapy, and we want them to understand the intersections of trauma and societal issues in El Salvador so that they can reach into deeper places of understanding trauma and then be able to facilitate deeper levels of healing.
At Change, we offer therapy for individuals, couples, and families. We also facilitate support groups with a scope of practice in emotional and relationship difficulties, trauma, and addictions. Our therapy is accessible to all socio-economic levels, and we offer therapy in both Spanish and English.

Because of our years of walking through complex issues with high-risk populations, we are uniquely positioned to provide quality training to mental health professionals and organizations in the areas of systemic and family therapy, trauma, and addiction treatment. Within our organization, our own team of therapists receive all of our training so that our programs continue to meet the needs of those being served by our Lighthouse Resource Center and the New Dawn Residential Program. Through Change, we are able to use our experience to equip others outside of our own team with training that is contextualized for El Salvador’s needs and reality.
We offer the following workshops for organizations:
We are also able to design a training specifically to meet the needs of your organization.
