Jon may possibly be sick with Dengue Fever. What is this you ask? It is a virus common in tropical areas and it’s transmitted by mosquitoes.  El Salvador has many cases each year, and people die from this virus – particularly children.  Thankfully, Jon seems to have a mild case. He started with symptoms on Friday and has  been getting worse and still has a fever and body aches.  He called the doctor tonight and all symptoms point to this sickness. Tomorow he has a doctor’s appointment to confirm if he has Dengue Fever or not. Please pray that if it is Dengue Fever he would recover soon, and if it’s not the doctor could figure out what’s wrong. This is another reminder that we are not in Pittsburgh anymore! All part of the fun, right? Thanks for your prayers and we will keep you posted!
