Mission to El Salvador is honored to be one of the charities benefitting from this year’s annual James V. Snyder Memorial Resolution Run. This is a 5K Run/Walk that was established in honor of Jon’s father, who lost his life to leukemia in 2007. This year’s race will be held on Saturday, January 7th, 2012 at North Park just north of Pittsburgh. Registration begins at 8am, and the race starts at 9:30am.
Jim is remembered as a man who served his community locally and globally and the race was initiated to raise funds for causes close to his heart. The proceeds from the race will benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, The Westmoreland County Food Bank, and Mission to El Salvador.
The race will be run at North Park, and you can check the official race website by clicking here. You can run or walk and all abilities are welcome! So come on out and get the New Year off to a healthy start!
